The Merida Silex 400
The all-rounder among gravel bikes
Versatility is timeless. The SILEX 400 is a gravel bike that's ready for any adventure - whether it's a challenging commute or winter training laps. Thanks to its robust aluminum frame, lightweight carbon fork and generous tire clearance of up to 700 x 45 mm - or even 42 mm with mudguards - it's ready for any challenge. The mountain bike-inspired geometry ensures exceptional confidence off-road, while the numerous mounting options allow you to easily transport all your gear. With the reliable Shimano 2x10-speed GRX gears and stable brakes, you'll master every climb and descent with ease.
The SILEX turns every ride into an adventure, be it on a multi-day gravel bikepacking tour or on the varied commute to work. With several test wins, awards and even a world championship title, the SILEX has taken the off-road capabilities of gravel bikes to a new level. The flatter head angle and the larger tire clearance of up to 700 x 45 mm or 42 mm with mudguards offer even more stability and comfort off-road. This combination of mountain bike-inspired handling and everyday versatility ensures that the SILEX is equally impressive both when fully loaded and when driving sportily.
A well thought-out product that simply fulfils its task in every situation
The SILEX is available in various versions with carbon and aluminum frames, so there is a model to suit every budget. What they all have in common is the numerous mounting options for bottle holders, luggage racks and other accessories - a real all-round bike. The WIRE PORT cable management ensures an even tidier look, which also prevents cables from getting caught on the handlebar bag. In addition, the carbon fork on all models now offers additional mounting options and internal cable routing for a dynamo. With the choice between 1x or 2x drives, you can adapt the SILEX to your needs and enjoy even more riding fun and flexibility.

- Award Winning frame design with lowered chainstays for 700x45 mm tire clearance
- Multiple mounting points for bottle cages, bags and mudguards
- WIRE PORT internal cable routing for a tidy look and scratch-free attachment of bags
- carbon fork with mounting points for luggage rack
